Making an Impact – How Signage Affects the Guest’s Experience

In the September/October 2009 issue of Resort Trades’ Management & Operations, Ernest Dwight has an article titled “Making an Impact – How Signage Affects the Guest’s Experience” published.  The article discusses and details the experience of three SouthWood clients’ unique layouts and signage needs – Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY, Marriott’s Grande Vista Resort in Orlando, FL, and Raffles Resort Canouan Island in the Caribbean island chain of The Grenadines.  The sign programs provided at each resort make them easier for guests to navigate while also reinforcing the property’s brand identity and image.  Read the article in its entirety here.
